1 · Overview

Everrest is a cozy 3D online multiplayer RPG. You play a Guild Master: recruit adventurers, send them on idle expeditions, craft gear, run a farm and ranch, upgrade your guild buildings, and trade with other players in a shared village.

The design is fun-first. The whole game is free and playable with just an email — no wallet, no blockchain. A thin Web3 layer (only rare items + scarce land) is available for players who want to own things on-chain.

2 · Getting Started

1. Sign in

Open the game and create an account with Gmail or a username + password. No wallet required.

2. Create your character

Pick from 7 classes — Knight, Barbarian, Mage, Ranger, Rogue, Druid, Engineer — and name your guild.

3. Follow the tutorial

A guided onboarding points you to each NPC. Walk with WASD, rotate the camera with Q/E, zoom with the scroll wheel, and press F to talk to a villager.

3 · Gameplay & NPCs

The core loop: send expedition → collect loot → craft → farm → trade → upgrade → repeat, a little stronger each time. Everything is opened by talking to the right NPC.

Adventurer Loadout

Adventurers are real 3D characters. Open one from the Expedition panel to equip and upgrade a weapon — each tier is a fancier model that increases the adventurer's expedition power (more gold per run).

Multiplayer & chat

The village is shared: you see other players walk around in real time, chat in a message box, and floating speech bubbles appear above characters.

4 · Economy — Gold vs $EVRST

Two currencies, kept strictly separate:

5 · Web3 Layer (NFTs & token)

~95% of Everrest is off-chain and free. Only ~5% — rare items and land — is on-chain. The token is a garnish, not the meal.

On-chain assets

Wallet, but later

You never need a wallet to play. When you choose to own something on-chain, Privy gives you an embedded wallet via email — no seed phrase (or connect Phantom / Solflare). Minting happens on Solana — fast & cheap.

7 · FAQ

Do I need a crypto wallet to play?

No. The full game is free with just an email. A wallet is only for optional on-chain ownership.

Is this play-to-earn?

No — it's a cozy game with a thin token layer. Earning is a side effect (e.g. a 1/200 Legendary craft), never a yield promise.

Is it pay-to-win?

No. Power comes from playing — expeditions, crafting, upgrades. NFTs are scarce/cosmetic status, not stat boosts you buy to win.

How much time does it take?

As little as 10–15 minutes a day. Expeditions run while you're offline; there's no penalty for not logging in.
